Short and sweet...
The first dress I fell for as a possible wedding dress was adorable; short, sweet and polka dot. It was ivory and was from the uber-stylish Reiss. Its top layer was ivory silk tulle, embroidered with large spots around the hem, lying over a layer of ivory satin. It tied with a gorgeous dusty lilac grosgrain sash and I loved it. I never managed to find a picture of it so I can't share it with you. I've been searching ebay for a year, trying to find it again but the dress is so beautiful, no-one is giving it up.
The second dress was super short too. A 1960s style tunic with cap sleeves and many tiers of ivory silk. French Connection's shop website seems to be broken, so I can't share that one with you either. Sometimes I wonder if they were both apparitions, induced by too many long, poofy dresses that looked like they could stand up by themselves.
Anyway, although I ended up with a long, distinctly bridal dress, my love for the short and sweet alternatives continues.....

Hey ladies,
I'm so sorry for not letting you know where this dress came from earlier. I wasn't actually sure but after a bit of searching I have found it is by Ronit Silkha http://www.ronitzilkha.com/
Hi I was curious about the tunic-esque dress with eyelet like lace on bottom and the shoulders.
Is that also by bcbg or is the "first" photo they're referring to that one and not the one from brides magazine. Thank you.
